The mini-course will consider the computational background for reinforcement learning and decision making, and the behavioral and neural evidence as to how they are accomplished in the brain. The first lecture (21/7) will discuss decision making under risk; the second (28/7) how decisions interact with learning; and the third (4/8) how reinforcement learning is subserved by multiple and parallel neural pathways.
